This project was a collaboration between Landann Brown, Luke Gurgel, Christie Kremer, and Lizzy Wolfe as part of the Design for Public Issues course at the University of Louisville Hite Institute of Art & Design in Spring 2022, with the direction of Sheri Squires.

The laundromat is a project under YouthBuild KY. The space serves as a community center, providing resources in addition to laundry services, like a little library, free internet, a play area, and more.

The desire for this identity system was to create a welcoming and inclusive voice for the brand that embodies the purpose of the Smoketown Laundromat and the goal of YouthBuild as a whole.
