Black Heritage in Racing

This Book Forms project allowed us to explore the often erased impact that Black jockeys and trainers have had in the history of horse racing, especially as it pertains to the Kentucky Derby. The patterns in my book were influenced by the patterns on jockey outfits. These patterns were placed throughout the book in order to create a sense of cohesion and organization of the book sections.
